Everyday Ethics: Putting the Code into Practice
Designed to help you reflect on your practice and incorporate the concept of ethics into your everyday work, this study guide can be used in different ways, depending on your particular needs and whether you are using it individually or in a group situation.

A Question of Respect: Nurses and End-of-Life Treatment Dilemmas
Nurses, as key providers of care to clients who are dying, are often the client's most intimate and constant contact. Nurses, therefore, have an in-depth perspective of how the client and family regard life and death. Presented to the special senate committee on euthanasia and assisted suicide, this brief addresses the public's understanding of end-of-life issues. It also includes a discussion paper, which features sections on euthanasia, withholding and withdrawing treatment, the use of advance directives (living wills), appropriate resuscitation, palliative care and support for the individual nurse.

Ethical Nursing Practice in a Pandemic: A National Nursing Perspective
This poster was presented at the First Canadian Roundtable on Public Health Ethics. It describes emergency preparedness resources developed by CNA, including the Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses, a position statement and an Ethics in Practice paper.
