CNA Certification
Initial Certification
CNA certification is an exam-based, voluntary credential reserved for registered nurses who meet specific nursing practice, continuous learning and testing requirements. The CNA certification specialty/area of nursing practice exams are administered annually. Candidates who are deemed eligible to write the certification exam will be given an access code to the online Certification Exam Prep Guide for their specialty/area of nursing practice.
2011 CNA certification exam date: April 9, 2011
Applications for the exam will be accepted between September 1 and October 15, 2010.

You can receive printed copies of the form by mail by calling the CNA Certification Program Processing Centre at 1-800-450-5206. You can also complete a Request Materials form.
