Gail Donner

Among Gail Donner’s many other activities, she established – along with partner Mary Wheeler – donnerwheeler, a consulting firm offering coaching, career development and mentoring in health-care organizations in Canada and abroad. Their model explores five phases of the career continuum, with results having been published in such scholarly journals as Nursing Economic$. Bringing their work to a global audience, Gail and Mary have collaborated with the International Council of Nurses and Sigma Theta Tau International, among others. They regularly contribute to the Career Talk column in Canadian Nurse and provide a variety of career resources via CNA’s portal, NurseOne.

Gail received her BSc in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. She holds a master’s in psychiatric/mental health nursing from New York University and a PhD in adult education from the University of Toronto.
