CNA Resolutions - 2005
At the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) 2005 Annual Meeting in Ottawa, nurses from across Canada voiced strong support for a public funded, not-for profit health-care system through their votes on resolutions presented to delegates. Voting delegates debated on a wide variety of topics presented by members of the assembly at the annual meeting.
Nine resolutions were received in 2005. Two were approved by the CNA Board of Directors at its June meeting. Seven resolutions and a motion from the floor were presented to the assembly for consideration: five were approved and one was withdrawn.
