Resolutions

How to submit a resolution

CNA welcomes the involvement of association/college members. One way to make your views known is by submitting resolutions. You can also raise issues of national concern through your provincial/territorial association/college, by writing to the CNA president or chief executive officer, or by directly contacting individual board members.

You can present any topic or idea as a resolution, provided it does not conflict with CNA's letters patent, bylaws, goals or corporate objects. Along with each proposed resolution, please include written background information on the reason for submission, plus a statement explaining how the resolution relates to one or more of the CNA goals.

Individual members may submit resolutions for the next annual meeting up to March 15, 2010. Jurisdictional and associate members may submit resolutions up to May 28, 2010.

For further information on CNA's Resolutions Guidelines, please contact Anna Baker at (613) 237-2133, ext. 221, or by e-mail at abaker@cna-aiic.ca.
